The app plays the piece at any tempo and shows the fingers: L5 to L1 and R1 to R5 on the piano keys, string and finger with the bow direction on the violin fingerboard, fret, finger and p i m a on the guitar fretboard, a pitch strip for singers.
What the app hears from you through the microphone, an instrument plugged in directly, or a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard: a tick or a cross per note, the note heard in cents, and a report with the bars to loop until clean.
Holding the instrument, first notes, reading, scales and arpeggios with the standard fingerings, pieces from the public domain, unlimited generated sight-reading and ear training, and exam preparation. Our grade levels are our own; the app shows approximate equivalents for RCM, ABRSM, Trinity, LCME, Conservatory Canada, Rockschool, MTB and AMEB. We are not affiliated with any examination board.

Preparatory and Grade 1 of every instrument are free. A licence key unlocks Grades 2 to 8 on one device, for good; keys are activated offline and the app never needs an account. Ask for the Windows app and a key through the feedback form while the shop is being set up.
